L. Marshall and Sheet Metal was hired to replace the existing roof of the Woodfield Shopping Mall in Schaumburg, IL. Commercial retail shopping mall roofing projects are one of the company’s specialties. L. Marshall has developed the unique experience of coordinating with other teams and scheduling late night roofing work to accommodate the expectations of Woodfield Mall.

The Marshall Team worked in a cooperative manner with the Woodfield Mall Roof Consultant and the Director of Facilities throughout the project. L. Marshall replaced the present roof with a new coal tar built up roof system. Their crews worked late at night to prevent disruption during normal business hours. Their equipment was moved early each morning and set up after normal closing hours.

Working with multiple crews, L. Marshall provided roofing and construction services while eliminating disruption to retail activities during normal business hours. L. Marshall maintains the built-up roof system and their commitment to a long term relationship with the property by providing regular roofing maintenance.

The project was completed on time and under budget without disruption to existing operations or mall retail business.
